HISTORY: Clampociraptor mercenaria

Dating back hundreds of years (maybe even thousands) clams roamed the earth more ferociously than today.
During these times, everything was about “eat or be eaten”.
Violence was the rule everyone lived by.

You might think that clams were always the same as they are nowadays.
Recent research however shows a significant change in their body structure.
At some point they were closely related to the chickens ancestor, the velociraptor.
Does that mean that chickens and clams are related? Yes, that’s what I just said.

While the chickens ancestors and almost every other animal at that time kept living by the rule of violence. The clam has evolved and overcome the urge to kill or fight for its live very quickly.
The ancestor of the clam, the clampociraptor, didn’t exist very long for that reason.
After reaching prime killingmachine, the clams realized their mistakes and quickly focussed on evolving into a non-violent species (mostly).

Nowadays clams are an idyllic species, there are some clampceptions of course.

  1. CLAMP!

Sometimes you just have to get in touch with your inner Clampociraptor!

  2. I used to have nightmares of Clampociraptors breaking into my kitchen and stealing all my ladles. Then one morning all my ladles were gone! COINCIDENCE!? I THINK NOT!

  3. This is all nonsense, everybody knows the earth is exactly 27,5 months old. That’s when we saw St. Wupchert last and things couldn’t have been very exciting before that.

  4. I always thought that chickens kinda looked like clams, it all makes sense now.

  5. Yeah you can still kinda see it in the eyes of the clam. It’s in there. That killer instinct. Or maybe that’s just that one clam looking at me weirdly from across the street whenever I look into their apartment.
